A delicious amber with a great malty taste. A TRUE Oktoberfest beer, but rolled into a Mexican lager. I could easily make this an all-day beer.
While visiting Iechyd Da, I tried all ten beers on tap, but actually finished my samples of this and their 'It's not a kilt' and the 'Breakfast Cookies'. I was even able to get a full growler out of the El Conquistador before the end of the keg... very happy with the locals recommendation to try this place.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub in Elkhart, IN.
Not a Mexican macro style but rather a hybrid that hangs out somewhere between negro modelo and octoberfest.
Very attractive clear amber-orange liquid with off white head.
Malty aroma.
Flavor is rich and toasty. Some hops but not too much. Some maple and caramel. Fresh and herby.
Smooth medium mouthfeel.
Overall I like it.
