On tap at Whitle Labs. Review based on 2 samples: one with WLP004 Irish yeast and the other with WLP022 Essex yeast. Combined (averaged) for ratings.
Surprised at the number of subtle changes produced by a change of yeast strain. These included sweetness, dryness, chocolate and spiciness.
Appearance was not noticeably affected.
O: both solid porters but I slightly preferred the one with Irish Ale Yeast.
