Dark coppery amber with plenty of foam in the Dupont chalice. Lovely resiny and piney aroma with a whiff of pineapple. Light and tangy. A pleasant malty taste but not overly sweet. Apricot taste emerges.
Hops are listed as Apollo, Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, and Falconer's Flight. This is not very bitter, and it's a lighter, less intense sort of big IPA. I"d be more inclined to call it a double Pale Ale. There's a cedar taste that is quite appealing. Tremendously drinkable. From the 22 oz bottle purchased from Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.
