Look: Amber-brown body, 1 finger white-ish head.
Smell: Dark fruits, whisky, caramel, and lots of coconut from the barrel aging.
Taste: See above.
Feel: Medium bodied, low carbonation, creamy, and with a mild alcohol burn on the finish.

Beautiful dark red brown amber with plenty of beige foam and lots of lacing in the Blanche de Chambly glass. I taste marshmallows, a little scorched. Lovely woody aroma with a whiff of booze.
Sweet malt but nicely balanced by the burnt sugar and hoppy edge. Brewed with Sterling hops and a bunch of different malts, and aged in Tennessee whiskey barrels. Hugely malty but not overly sweet. Quite a wonderful Doppelbock–– some dark notes and a splash of whiskey is what this style needed.

22oz bomber
A — Silver stringy wax sealed bottle, cap comes off with little to no resistance, thankfully. Pours out with a dark leathery mahogany hue into the glass. Looks quite rich in the glass, puffy and thick khaki colored head forms and leaves some sticky lacing behind it.
S — Smells of leather, oak, caramel, raisins, plums, figs, oaky, barrel, whiskey heat and spice.
T — Tastes rich, malty, boozy, sweet. Oaky, raisin, plum, dates, just a whole lot of dark fruits and burnt sugar.
M — Full bodied, carbonation is a bit low, and makes it feel heavier than it is.
O — Pretty good overall, not sure how long this stayed in the barrel but it does come across as a bit rushed.
