From notes, on draft on May 17, 2017. I had the Stare Decisis Barrel Aged Sour W/Cherries (as described on Untappd). Very dark deep red black-red appearance. Smell is all cherries. Good bit of barrel comes through in the taste, but it's still tart with sour cherries. A 'darker', mildly bitter sour.

On tap at Beveridge Place Pub.
This is a beer barrel aged for two years with tart pie cherries. It's dark brown, with a modest head. The aroma is tart and fruity, with the wood from the barrel as well (oak, I assume, but what do I know). The flavor is terrific, a very well balanced blend of the cherries, which lend their flavor, but aren't sweet, and then the tartness of the sour ale. It's a complex flavor, reminding me a bit of a good dry red wine, but with more fruit and more sour ale character. Really good stuff.
