2017 bottle enjoyed about one year later.
Dark brown, tan head, looks great. Smell is more whiskey than anything else. Taste has the whiskey, coffee, roasted malts, a little cocoa, and just a bit of tart tang. The body is pretty light. Overall, it's a fun beer. Congrats to Bainbridge on their 5th anniversary, and making a fine beer.

Somewhat limited distribution, but got a bottle by mail order from Marina Market (who is up the street from them). Consumed from wine glass. I'll give this high marks, in all likelihood the best beer they've ever produced. Description on bottle is good. Porter, chocolate, coffee, barrel flavors are all there, and combine to make a very enjoyable brew. Roasted chocolate flavor seems most forward, followed by whiskey barrel, porter base. Coffee comes in somewhat late. Nice, though.
