12oz can - poured into an IPA glass at 38°F.

Pours a clear deep honey golden colour, with tons of suspended bits of sediment. Half a finger of weak white head forms and quickly settles to a ring and small island, and plenty of effervescence is visible. Would be much more attractive without the sediment.

Nose: Slightly muted - gentle biscuit malt with a touch of sweetness and a kiss of grain, with a stone fruit-forward hop profile. Aromas of peach, nectarine, and papaya, with some notes of mango, pineapple, and tangerine. Fairly simple and straightforward, though pleasant aroma.

Palate: The beer greets the palate malt-first, with a forward - a little biscuity, a little bready, anf a touch crackery, with a fair bit of sweetness. The hops come in - juicy in nature, with plenty of melon, tangerine, grapefruit, and pineapple, with some lesser notes of mango, papaya, and peach. A Mosaic-like grassy note emerges, with a hint of unripe fruit rind, which ushers in a clean, restrained grassy bitterness with a touch of citrus pith, working well to dry out much of that malt sweetness.

Mouthfeel/Body: The beer is generally medium-full in body. The malt sweetness and slightly higher ABV do lend some weight to the beer, though it manages to retain a somewhat crisp element to it. Definitely a traditional IPA in terms of feel and structure, yet it has a bit of that "juicy" hop feel to it. Effervescence is moderate - fair enough for the ABV, and the feel is fairly wet - drying out just a bit in the finish.

Overall: This is a perfectly good imperial IPA, though it isn't something that jumps out and speaks to me. If blindly brought to me on tap, I would be perfectly happy with it, but when paired against all the incredible hippy offerings there are, I find this one stands within "average" territory. Other than being a touch sweet, there are no glaring flaws, and it is a very well-balanced beer. Anyone who enjoys fruitier, slightly malty, clear IPAs will be right at home with this one.

a nice bright strawy color and a dank, juicy hazy aroma. The smell is bright yet deep, I notice notes of pineapple and mango.
Flavor is citrusy, dry, and a tiny bit bitter. Pairs decently with spicy food, tried with thai, chinese. Canned on 05/07, so not the freshest, but good enough to get me interested in a sixer.

12 oz can split with my brother-in-law. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a moderate off-white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, and crackery malt. Slightly sweeter and more alcoholic than I'd prefer. Hop-forward with notes of citrus and grass. Solid but not amazing.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Grateful canned on May 18th 2020.

Pale light yellow, with a soft light gold color that is a fairly clear body with a nice view of rising small carbonation. Big fluffy classic white four finger thick head, with big staying power. Pretty great looking IPA and a real light colored one too.

Simple hop aroma is present. Light sensing touches of faint herbs and pine mixing with just a hair of citrus fruit flavor. Fairly neutral malt and yeast presence not accenting on counterpointing much, just a straightforward good nose.

Palate provides a very good basic punch. Excellent juicy tasting but not so much feeling body. Neutral simple malt backbone provides a much more flavorful hop presence on the palate. Juiced orange with a touch of sharp green herbs for complimentary flavors. Much more diverse than the nose hints at previously. Faint touches of light malt sweetness make for great balance.

This sort of reminds me of a smash beer, but it's just very well done and simple. Also for a DIPA it's not excessive and very well balanced, great solid beer from these guys for a good cause too.

Aroma is juicy and dank. Nothing really jumping but it’s noticeable. Taste pretty much follows the nose. Chewy and big and full bodied. High IBUs I would guess but at 8.6% ABV it’s just right to balance the beer out. Very solid DIPA and for a good cause.
