341ml bottle poured into tulip 14/5/16
A straw yellow with a tornado of big bubbles that take a couple minuets to settle down, thumbs width of foam has great retention but leaves no lace
S peppery farmhouse yeast is hard to miss, some citrus and bubblegum, cereal and bread, I wouldn't call it a hoppy saison but the yeast is there
T spicy, yeasty, grainy, not far from the smell really, yeast is still firmly in charge
M medium weight, stays on the creamy side but almost foam the flattens out, slick, finishes dry with a spicy bubblegum flavor lingering
O a little inflated overall for how easy it goes down, a little one dimensional relying on the yeast profile to carry it along but it works well
Not really all that hopped up but I like the spicy yeast and its drinks like a session ale, decent saison but nothing to really set it apart from the pack

6.5% abv, N/A ibu, 341ml bottle.
A - light golden clear, half finger head which fade out fast.
S - banana, fruity, floral, little tart, coke? cracker.
T - nicely carbonated, light body. mild sweetness, licorice, dry out fast. decent malty aftertaste. where is the hoppy tho?
O - not much expectation for this, and came out with no surprise as well. taste like lager or regular saison to me, without hoppyness. everything r light here, except for the yeast character.

Not a big fan of beers with a lot of hops but found this saison pleasantly refreshing. Slightly sweet with a hint of hops

Not my favourite style but lately I've been coming around...
Classic saison elements..initial sweetness, herbal hints. The inclusion of hops really adds to the drinkability, balancing out some of the cloying sweetness that I find off-putting in some saison brews.

Faces come out of the rain/When you're strange... I wouldn't classify this beer as Jim Morrison weird. Its a pale, clean, relatively faithful to the style saison. I didn't detect an abundance of hops, but this was the last beer of a very productive tasting session, so, well, when you're...Alright YEAH!

341ml bottle poured into tulip.
Pours a clear straw yellow with one thin finger of white head that leaves calving glacier lace as it recedes.
Smells of mild bready pale malt, spicy Belgian yeast and bright fruity hops. Pretty nice.
Tastes of more grainy pale malt, creamy peach and pear, candied coriander and more citrusy leafy hops.
Feels smooth and frothy. Medium-light bodied with mild carbonaton. Finishes off-sweet.
Verdict: Recommended. Off to a good start.

Pours a crystal clear straw colour with a thin white head with a nice long retention. Yeast, pale malts and banana all wrapped around some earthy hop and spice. The taste reveals much of the same notes along with some corriander, pepper and apple. The mouthfeel is in the medium range with an active carbonation. A pretty good saison.
