Pours a dark copper with a foggy translucency. Head is two fingers of dense and hearty off-white foam. Aroma is toffee, caramel, and molasses with a wave of pine and resin hops washing over the underlying malts. Flavor profile stacks Chin Wag's base malt notes of caramel, toffee, bread, and toast, and smoothers it in a sticky coating of pine and resin. Mouth feel is creamy and frothy with a medium-thick consistency. Overall, refreshing. Pine is a welcome addition to this beer, all the while maintaining a good balance.
