Draft. They called it Summer Saison. Pours a golden amber yellow on the orange side. Minimal head that quickly disappeared. Smells of ginger, honey and spices. Can't identify them. Rosemary? Taste is really refreshing for a farmhouse saison. Usually they taste like licking a barn door. They are usually musty, dry and weak on flavor. This one is full of flavor. Ginger, lemons, honey, rosemary maybe, spices, lightly sweet. Not sour at all. Smooth with no bitterness. Fuller in the mouth than most saisons. I think this is one of the better ones I have had. Excellent effort!

Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is big on the ginger but paired with some cloves and pepper from the yeast. Flavor is boldy ginger; you better like ginger to like this beer. For me, too much ginger. Some clove and pepper is there too but the balance just doesn't isn't right. A crisp, active mouthfeel. Overall, not for me. Ginger is a delicate ingredient where a little goes a long way and they were too heavy handed with its use here, IMO. This all said, I would be interested in a trying a regular saison from these guys based upon what seemed like a solid base to this beer.
