Nice brown color with decent head, not much lacing. Mild roasty nose, flavor was very good roast flavor, fairly dry finish . medium to light bodied. Good solid everyday stout, light enough to enjoy will a meal.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of chocolate, some roasted malts. Taste is of roasted malts, light chocolate, a touch of smoke. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it's a bit on the mild side, but is a decent beer.

Poured from 12oz can into glass. Canning date is stamped as '80218'.
Dark cola brown colored body, with mahogany edges when back lit. Two fingers of light tan head, which settles to creamy, bubbly cap. Lattices of lacing are left behind.
Aroma of roasted malts and milk chocolate.
Taste has the roasted malts and sweet chocolate, plus a little fruity from the hops. End of taste profile has some very slight bittering coffee.
Thin mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Really is quite sweet for a stout, and is too thin of a body. Okay overall but one is enough.

Appearance: Black glass holds a finger and a half head of rocky tan foam. So opaque my flashlight doesn't pierce it. I'm impressed.

Aroma: Roasted barley, porter profile, earthy hops, a little dusty.

Taste: Rich malt sweetness, roasted flavor kicks in and goes a touch burnt grain. A hint of sweetness in the finish has me thinking milk stout. A hint of metallic in the finish as it warms.

Mouthfeel: Creamy texture, heavy body, little warmth, fairly clean finish.

Overall: Solid beer. Big malt flavor makes it feel bigger than 6.2%, hops are style appropriate, maybe a little heavy on the roasted barley which might be giving the metallic edge. Still, worth a try.

Great taste. Smooth and a bit of a tar aftertaste that lingers and fades in the most pleasant way. Enjoyed it at the Germantown Cafe in Nashville so it was nice and fresh. The head was an interesting color and faded quick. Love it

A little too watered down for my liking.

It is a serviceable stout, but just nothing special about it. I just feel like it is missing something.

Medium body and not overly carbonated.

Thin watery "stout" with a very burnt roasted flavor ... Not much going on here imo other than burnt grain..

Drink a 6 pack of cans and that will be my last time purchasing this brew..

12oz can into a tulip appears dark brown to black in color with a brown cap.

Aroma consists of almost a nutty grain aspect mingled with roast, earth and almost a cola quality.

Taste is a bit herbal with a cola quality before a nutty grain feel mixes with earth and raisony alcohol.

Medium in body with modest carb. Its ok

Served on nitro draft at Sunspot in Knoxville TN. Arrives nearly opaque; dark violet and chocolate hues penetrate the murky liquid. Topped with a somewhat disappointing, for a nitro, mocha colored head, about one finger in size.

Aroma is severely muted. Nitro beers have a tendency to be somewhat muted, but someone turned the sound completely off and removed the speakers from this one. I get a little bit of dirty diaper. Not impressed.

Flavor seemed off too. No stout flavor. Maybe some alkalinity that is typical, but no roastiness or coffee. Severely disappointed.

On tap at Siglers in Tennessee. Revisited about 9 months later with a 12 oz can.
Excellent looking with a black body and a fine tan head. Nice lacing.
Plenty of dark roasted grain flavor with a touch of smoke and a hint of black coffee. Lightly sweet up front but good bitter-sweet balance.
Very smooth, full body. Medium carbonation.
{Twas notably better on tap}
