A collaboration with Anders Kissmeyer, this Nordic Saison was brewed with blackberry honey, heather flowers, and rose hips and then fermented in used red wine barrels with a proprietary blend of wild yeast and bacteria.

Draft at brewery. I was hoping for some juniper or sahti notes to reflect the Nordic in the title.Nothing such occurred. Mildly sweet saison with some yeasty notes, but just muted all around. Still tasty, but confused on the Nordic label. From 2017, I have a much better understanding of kviek yeast now.)
