Tastes like a Witbier with a dose of lemon to go with the orange peel. Very light body but pleasantly sudsy in the mouth. Hops are listed as Saaz. Rather tasty and adequate flavor for a sub-four percent brew. Just slightly citrusy taste and a hint of flowery hops. Not really a Saison except for maybe the yeast, so it's hard to compare with the style. A decent Grisette, though, and not overly tart. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station. Packaged 6/5/19.
March 23, 2021 - Year and a half later, this stuff is still quite pleasant. Tangy, light, and fruity with zingy carbonation and no off flavors. A paragon of stability and clean brewing.

Citrus Plaidlands from Crux Fermentation Project, a Grisette Ale clocking in at 3.7% abv and 10 IBU. This 500mL bottle was bottled on 6/5/19, merely a month ago. Pours into my pint glass as pale hazy yellow with lots of turbidity from grain matter and carbonation. Moderate white head. Can't decide if that's pretty or just sickly looking. Flavor is crisp and off-tart. Lemon-y flavors come to the front, like a watery dry-lemon soda radler or Ruß. Very cool and drinkable. Would be a fantastic session beer on a really hot today -- unlike today's rainy July day in Seattle.
