A non-alcoholic IPA brewed with Citra & Mosaic hops grown in the Pacific Northwest.
Finally, a near beer that tastes like the real thing. Refreshingly hoppy with a familiar mouthfeel, we crafted this alternative IPA using only traditional brewing methods for those moments when only a "craft brew" will do.

Pours a very slightly hazy golden color with a nice head that is very bubbly and goes to a small layer of foam as the carbonation goes away. Nice hop flavor and decent malt backbone. Mouthfeel is light. Though it is non-alcoholic, it is better than some of the light beers with alcohol. purchased at Costco Vancouver. Rated 1-29-2024 10 IBUs

12oz can in my friends' fridge found while I pet sit.

Poured into a glass, this was a clear, golden shade of amber, with a good sized yet exceedingly short lived off-white head. No lace to speak of after the head vaporized itself away.

Nose is of Citra and Mosaic hops. Definitely a West Coast style near beer.

Big drop off between the nose and the taste, at least in terms of resembling an IPA, West Coast style or otherwise. Well some hot flavor comes through, it's got a very soda like flavor to it that is more dominant.

Fairly light and crisp body and mouth feel.

It's okay. In fact it might be my favorite non-alcoholic beer that I have so far sampled. It definitely does not remind me of the real thing, however.

Such hopes but this brew tastes like flavored soda water. I’ve had some excellent non boozy IPAs but this was not it!

The body is so light that it almost reminds me more of hop water than an NA beer. It's not bad tasting if you like hop water, but I couldn't recommend this as an NA beer.

I am really trying to find an NA IPA that is in the same league as Athletic Brewing Company's offerings and sadly my journey will continue on...

The use of Citra and Mosaic hops makes me like the taste, although its other qualities are just another NA beer without much of a good malt character.

12oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Dated 07/27/21.

Pours clear with a fairly large soda-like head that collapses to a clumpy layer and some lacing. Moderate carbonation. Smell is some dirty dishwater, almost a BO smell. Still has some hop characteristic.

Taste is mild, a little grainy, slow creeping bitterness. Has a little bit of the NA beer "green" flavor, but not too strong.

Mouthfeel is thin and kind of watery. Overall, it's an OK NA beer, though it doesn't smell so good. It is also fairly old. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a fresher one and try it again.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned on 7/6/21.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a little bit of haze and no real head to speak of. The color is nice.

Smell: very light malt aroma with a nice, if light, piney and herbal West Coast IPA hopping style. Not bad.

Taste: the malt is so light as to be almost nonexistent but there's a dash of flavor there, and the hops are, again, light but live up to the task. For an NA beer, this isn't half bad.

Mouthfeel: lots of carbonation but basically no body at all.

Overall: according to the can this is brewed using "only traditional brewing processes", so my guess is that they just start with a minuscule amount of malt (rather than some alcohol-removal process), and that shows in the lightness and the body. So, it's not bad, but it doesn't read a whole lot like beer.
