500ml brown bottle, sample from the brewery.
Big frothy head on top, all tan and all on top of a very dark brown brew. Smells slightly boozy, more wood than alcohol, more tannin than vanilla but both toasted aromas from the malt and wood. Smooth with a feigned bigger body. Dry malt character meets wood, mellow rye whiskey barrel flavor throughout. Lots of dried grass and wood tannin. Easy to drink though with each sip new flavors come around. Very well done.
