Had on-tap at the brewery. Poured into a small goblet.
As per the brewery description: "All ingredients of this beer were grown in PA! We used 6 row malted barley and wheat from Deer Creek Malthouse in Glen Mills, Cascade hops from Greenaway Farm in Jersey Shore, and 175 lbs. of sweet corn from Shuey’s Farm in Bellefonte. This beer weighs in at 4.3% ABV, has a slight hop and corn aroma, finishes dry and is straw in color. "
L: Pours a clear light golden color. 1.5 fingers of white head leaves some lacing.
S: Mostly lager... malts and some mild hops. Corn and grains.
T/F: Pretty standard lager flavor. Crisp and clean... good malt flavor and mild hop bitterness but certainly not overpowering. I noticed the sweet corn mostly at the finish which gave it a bit more sweetness than a typical lager.
O: A reasonably good lager... and the corn was used as flavoring as opposed to an adjunct for cost purposes as far as I can tell (hence why I added it as a vegetable beer instead of adjunct lager). Nothing crazy exciting but good enough. Glad I tried it. If you're a lager drinker I'd give it a shot.
