Smells like coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is initially sweet, then goes into very bitter coffee beans. The taste is all coffee beans long into the finish. Every sip is smooth initially, then abrasive. Unbalanced, it's nothing special

Pours a dense mahogany color with a mocha head . Smell has lots of coffee and roasted chocolate malts . Taste follows the nose with huge coffee front end, with chocolate roast some vanilla in finish. Mouth feel strong for a milk stout , some creaminess.

Had on tap. Very little foam and carbonation. Strong chocolate and coffee taste. The IBU seems higher than what's advertised. Not terrible, but much better milk stouts out there.

Black color with a thin tan head. Smells strongly of chocolate and coffee. Flavor is big on chocolate milk and coffee, like the two were chilled and blended, very mild bitterness. Creamy mouth feel but very light.

Poured from a bottle into a 20 oz pilsner. Looks good. Color is black. Coffee and chocolate comes through. I found the body to be light with decent carbonation. Nothing extraordinary, but smooth and very drinkable. I liked it. I think those who are thinking of trying a dark beer, might enjoy this one.

Poured from bottle. No bottle date found. Pours black with one finger of head that had good retention before settling to a thin cap. Moderate amount of sticky lacing is left down the glass. Aroma of sweet chocolate and coffee. This is one sweet tasting beer and the coffee does not come through as the result. If you are one of those people that like a little coffee with your sugar, then this may be more your style. Notes of chocolate and mild roast. Also a bit of smoke but overall this is not that interesting. This is not a big stout so the body is light and has good carbonation. A decent effort but certainly is not going to replace Cold Press Black from my fridge.
