Minnehahop IPA appeals to hop heads and light IPA drinkers alike. Fresh and citrusy, aromas of pineapple, lemon, lime, passion fruit and mango, with just a touch of caramel sweetness to finish. At only 5.5% ABV, this new breed of IPA differs from its forebears in more meaningful ways.
Intentionally sunk in 1926, the Steamboat Minnehaha spent five decades at the bottom of Lake Minnetonka. She persevered and was raised, restored and renewed for her second act. Our tribute Minnehahop salutes the spirit of the Minnehaha by reinventing the traditional IPA with a new broader fruit profile from Citra, Sorachi Ace, Armarillo and Chinook hops. A new commission for a noble classic.

Served in a bottle and had some sediment that looks like hop residue. Taste was good after getting past this unusual occurrence for a filtered beer from a good brewery.

Poured from 12oz bottle into glass. Stamped on bottle neck is '18109'. Label has ABV% as 5.5.
Slightly cloudy, deep gold colored body. Foamy and creamy one finger head upon pourcing. Leaves webs of lacing.
Aroma is very malty, very little hops.
Taste is very malty, with very little hops.
Medium mouth feel. Medium carbonation.
Either too old or not well brewed, this beer does not express attributes of an IPA.
