Clear, copper color with minimal head that quickly settled to a ring of bubbles. Not much for lacing.
Pleasant aroma of herbal hops and bready/caramel malt. Classic Irish ale aroma.
More aggresively hopped than most of the style. The herbal hops compliment the malt. Nice dry malt character but still maintains some caramel flavor. Mild fruity yeast esters show up in the finish. Has a bit of a metallic twang as well.
Undercarbonated. Again cause is probably the growler fill. Light body that could benefit from more spirited carbonation.
Easy drinking Irish ale. A bit more to it than the mass market versions of the style thanks to the hops.
