A malt-forward IPA dry hopped with a shipload of raw, whole hops. This IPA defines “extreme balance”. An extreme malty sweetness on the front end with a huge hop bitterness to finish clean.

Bridge Jumper pours a hazy copper color, with lots of chunks, and a very small barely lacing head. Notes of earth. Flavor is very very earthy, with a harsh malty flavor that sticks out, and a harsh bitterness near the end. Good body and feel. Overall, I did not like this one at all, very very earthy, and the flavors just don't match.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel malt and toffee. Some pine, too. Very malty with very little citrus or pine hop presence.

Very murky yellow and lots of floaters. Smell is fruity, grapefruit mostly. Good malt taste and feel. Not very hoppy, and very drinkable and refreshing for a 7.5%. Would buy again.

This beer pours a murky yellow color. The head is a quarter inch in height, and recedes quickly into nothing. The aroma is musty grapefruit, and some malt sweetness. It is not appetizing at all. The taste is less musty, but is very lacking in hop character. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with appropriate carbonation for the style. Overall, this is another bad beer from Excelsior Brewing. I will not drink it again.

Pours a cloudy, maize color. One inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of citrus zest, sweet malt, slight pale malt, hint of wheat, and floral. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of citrus zest, sweet malt, earthiness, hint of grass, slight pale malt, hint of wheat, and floral. Overall, great appearance, good aroma, but the grass/earthiness flavor is not pleasing.

My favorite IPA. Approachable and not crazy hoppy like some IPAs i've had. Nice golden color, Chinnook hops really add something nice to it.

Pours a hazy tropical color like mango juice and a squirt of prune juice. 2 fingers of very thick, fluffy head.
Pure fruit on the nose. Pineapple, cantaloupe, papaya, red grapefruit. Rice Krispies.
Flavors start with fruit juice, like tropicana. Papaya, passion fruit, mango, pineapple ice cream, persimmon, grapefruit. It fades into a few sharp pine notes with lingering grapefruit. Bready flavors and rich tropical fruits remain lingering on the palate.
Feel is thick, juicy, resinous, fuzzy. Nice semi-dry parch with lingering acidity from the fruits.
Very close to DFH 120 but without the "WOW" factor. Lots of gorgeous fruit. A sipper. Drink it cold though! Starts to develop some off notes as it warms. So overall not a bad beer, I'll find more somehow.

I poured this from a bottle into a clear teardrop glass. The taste is pure grapefruit and hops--no imagination here. It's been done over and over. I know why they call it Bridge Jumper.

7.5 ABV 67 IBU. Mild hoppy finish very smooth almost sweet for an IPA.
