A blend of four German malts and local honey make for a toasty and robust cold weather IPA with a touch of floral sweetness. Loads of American hops add big notes of citrus, papaya and berry. So delicious it don't give a F*#K.

A good IPA but this was the last beer of a pretty shity beer day so my palate was hungering for anything with good flavor. Looks a proper IPA. A bit of sweetness on the finish to tame any bitterness there was. Ditch the honey and I probably would of liked it more.

Pours a bronze color, with a small, but long lasting lacing head. Fresh hop aromas. Flavor is full of fresh hops, and hints of sweet and dry honey. Good body and feel. Overall, easy drinking IPA, with good flavors, and a hint of honey.

From a 12oz can:
Appearance: Clear amber, good head.
Smell: Danky, hints of honey.
Taste: Fruity, berries, underlying maltiness, moderate citrus bitterness in the finish.
Overall: I didn't see this in 2017 but remembered that I wanted to try it when I saw it here in 2018. Seems a little muddled, I liked the berry flavor from the hops (or maybe fruited honey?), but it was a little heavy in body than I prefer. Not particularly dry like some other beers with honey in them.

Poured from 12oz can into glass. No canning date found. This batch is label as ABV: 6.3% By Vol.
Slightly cloudy, pale amber colored body. 1-1/2 fingers of white head upon pouring backs down to thin cap and thick ring. Leaves behind webbing of lacing.
Vibrant citrus and berry in the aroma, with hints of honey sweetness.
Honey and malt sweetness balanced with expressive citrus and berry hops in the taste. There is hop bitterness but it is tempered by the honey sweetness.
Medium to thick mouth feel. Good carbonation.
This is an IPA that wants to express its citrus hop bitterness but this never completely occurs, because the sweet component layers over and acts as a blanket. Easy drinking with a rather long taste profile.
