Tap pour at JL Beers, Burnsville MN. Beer was released around the third week of June at the Badger Hill tap room.
Clear, straw colored body. Minimal head and no lacing.
Subdued floral and grassy hops aroma. The glass also had a slight chlorine smell, which is likely from JL Beers' cleaning cycle.
Taste is from floral and grassy hops. No bitterness. Champagne like drinking experience. Dry finish.
Thin to medium mouth feel. Okay carbonation.
Not quite the distinctiveness I was expecting from my first try of a "Brut IPA". Definitely in the dry realm, but aroma was certainly constrained and the taste was hoppy without being bitter.
