Very attractive quad. Appropriately drinkable, yet substantial in flavors and alcohol. A little heavy on the crystal malt and lacking in the raisin and dark fruits in my opinion, but that's not to say this isn't a great beer on it's on.

On tap at Bravery Brewing in Lancaster, CA.
Pours a clear dark orange-brown with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, dark fruit, spice, and alcohol aromas. Taste is much the same with malt, caramel, and dark fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness and an alcohol kick on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is fairly strong and boozy in my opinion.
