Poured from a 22-ounce bottle a clear, darkish orange under a half-inch thick white head which leaves spots of lace. Aroma is orange citrus fruit and some dankness. Flavor is mostly malty with a stale bread sweetness and mild piney sap. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky, resiny, piney. Must pay attention to the dates on these bottles - April 17, 2017. Over 3 months old, darn it! Bye, Bye hops.

Tasted from a bomber bottle.

L - Golden/orange color and just a bit hazy. Off-white head is thick & creamy. Fades to a ring around the glass along with thick lacing.

S - Great American hops aroma of pine, grapefruit and tropical fruits. Bready malt and a small amount of butterescotch.

T - Hops flavors of tropical fruit and grapefruit dominate. Bracingly high bitterness is offset by moderate malt sweetness and bready malt flavors.

F - Medium body. Moderate, creamy carbonation. Moderate alcohol presence.

O - An enjoyable, balanced double IPA.

On tap at Bravery Brewing in Lancaster, CA.

Pours a clear honey orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and orange juice aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with great citrus forward hop characteristics that make this one tasty and easy to drink.

Poured an orange gold color with a white head, decent lacing. Aromas and flavors of Orange, grapefruit, mango, papaya, and a sweetbready malt backbone. A very nice DIPA, probably my favorite beer I've had from Bravery thus far.

Tulip from the tap at blue palm. Brown bread and dark chocolate on the nose and tongue. Smooth mouthfeel, clean hop and medium carbonation. A unique and worthy IPA on an otherwise weak BP tap list.

Definitely one of the higher quality DIPAs I have had recently. Not mind-blowing, but tasty and better than most.

L: Comes in cool tall cans decorated with invigorating color, pours into a pint glass... What a beautiful beer. Viscous clear amber orange body. Lots of carbonation, lots of head, fantastic retention, very sticky lacing.

S: Already clear that this is on the sweeter side. Lots of hops, but lots of malt too. Aromas of toffee, peach, heavy mango, pineapple, coconut, sweet onion, honey, and some orange and grapefruit on the finish, but they come off as candied, rather than the bitter rind on the finish of most IPAs.

T: There is tons of sweetness in this flavor. Toffee is the main contributor to taste, but peach and mango are also noticeable, that cooked onion note follows up in the middle and some bready barleywine flavors take it into a piney grapefruit finish. Not bad, but not my favorite.

F: A little cloying on the end. Needs to be more crisp. That said, I am not a brewer, so I do not know how this would be accomplished.

O: A very good beer. B-
