Tasted on tap at the brewery on 10 Oct 2015.
A visually beautiful beer that looks almost like a dark pink champagne. From the name I expected a tartly sour beer, but this is a more mellow, layered beer. It has a low funk and good depth of flavors. Very interesting.

On tap at Bravery Brewing in Lancaster, CA.
Described as a hibiscus witbier brewed with lactic acid.
Pours a clear light orangish-red with a foamy off-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly tart with malt, grain, floral, hibiscus, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour grain, floral, and hibiscus flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is light and fairly refreshing.
Serving type: on tap.
