Amber beers are a style that fall between light pale ales and brown ales. They are generally categorized as pale ale. This beer is dark amber in colour, has traces of citrus in its aroma, and one can pick up hints of caramel and coffee in its full bodied flavour. Though it is fairly well hopped, the robust character and complexity of this fine amber turns it into nectar of the gods that no serious beer drinker should pass up.

Pours amber color accompanied with a thin head with little retention. Aroma dominated by malt, caramel and fig overtones. Sweet, malt, caramel flavours. Very little lacing. Elevated carbonation and little to o bitterness except for a light hit on the finish.

This amber ale grew on me after having it several times. I live close enough to the brewery that I can pick up a supply to enjoy when I want a superior ale.
This beer is unique. It is an amber, and has some elements of an English Ale, but also a little undertone of an IPA. Each aspect is a bit muted so it is not overwhelming, but this makes it tremendous.
Some caramel, bread, toast, nicely carbonated, some hops, just a hint of citrus that you would expect with an IPA.
Superb ale that is unique and not like anything I have had from any other brewery. Have not had the fortune of having one at the brewery pub but I shall make sure I do soon.

Draft: Poured a clear burgundy color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of grainy malt notes with light dry hoppy notes. Taste is also a mix of grainy malt notes with some dry hoppy notes. Body is light with OK carbonation. Not really great with weird grainy malt notes.

Pint at the new location of The Corner in Orleans. From notes.
A - Reddish pour as expected. Bright, one finger white head. Very little spotty retention, small ring of lace.
S - Grass, caramel, bread.
T - Caramelly, very amber ale-ish. A nice mild hop note. Pleasant, but standard.
M - Good carbonation, medium body, caramelly with a mild hop note to finish.
O/D - Not a bad amber. Nobody's favourite style, but it's decent. I could have a few.
