Pours a clear, pale golden coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of doughy wheat malt and subtle smokey aromas, as well as hints of grassy hops. Taste follows the nose, with a great balance of doughy wheat malt and slighty grassy and floral hops, with just the merest hint of citrus, as well as a subtle but definitely noticeable smokiness. Finishes with a very light bitterness and some smoked accents lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light body and medium/strong carbonation.

This makes for quite a light and easy-drinking beer with a good balance of subtle malt and hops, as well as light, but distinctly noticeable smoky accents. Notes of bread dough and cereal, as well as hay and citrus can be gleamed form the malts and hops, although these are quite faint, which is probably according to style though, while the smokiness, although subtle, is much more noticeable here. I think this whole series is a great idea and this beer makes for a very interesting, old-fashioned drinking experience that is rather enjoyable for the low-ABV and feels quite refreshing, while the smokiness gives it that certain "je ne sais quoi".
