330ml bottle poured into a little hotel tumbler. Bought it at a little liquor store in Mizonokuchi. Appears to have a "best by" date of 2015/06/05. Not sure what to expect. It's Brimmer's "Specialty" label, with an additional sticker on the bottom that says Mosaic White Ale.
Pours hazy amber with a little head. Some carbonation, but not lots. Smell is nice -- a little straw, a little fruit, kind of tropical aroma, but with a nice slightly toasty malt background.
Taste is surprisingly hoppy. Nice bitter finish, fairly piney. Some tropical/floral sweetness up front, but it quickly gives way to the pine.
Mouthfeel is a little thin, almost watery. Overall, pretty good.
