A local crowd, this place has been here for a long time, and you get the local taps, with food for a date. I prefer the vibe from the breweries themselves.

A great little pub, in the heart of Augusta St. where there are quite a few fine pubs and restaurants. If you are in the area this is a def. place to pop into for a pint or 10.

My favorite beer place in town. The beers are great and always rotating so you'll get to try something new all the time. The girls behind the bar are great servers and will let you try a sample before buying a pint. Grab a spot on the front patio or in the back and enjoy the night on Augusta street.

Of the 3 places I went to in Hamilton, this was my favourite for pints. The selection was solid with enough interesting beers to choose from. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. The bar area is quite small, so I can see how being there at the wrong time or on the wrong night could be frustrating, but it was great when we were there. I expect that I will return here for pints in the the future.

What I had: Amsterdam Boneshaker IPA (draught), Spearhead Hawaiian Style Pale Ale (draught), Crab Poutine for dinner.
What I liked: Cozy atmosphere, great music, unpretentious crowd, plenty of seating to choose from, friendly and efficient staff, tasty bar food, and several solid taps.
What I disliked: A few of the draughts could stand to be more interesting (i.e. four different blonde lagers), but the overall lineup is pretty good.
Would I go back? Yes.
