The Lava beer has been popular with all of you chili heads out there. This product is strictly a novelty. We took a nice Blonde Ale and turned it into an inferno of heat and flavor. WARNING, THIS BEER IS MASSIVELY HOT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Additions of Ghost Peppers, Marua Scorpion Peppers and 9 Million Scovile Pepper Extract will heat you up from top to bottom.
Great for cooking and messing with your buddies. We particularly like cooking chili with the Lava Lounge. Tell us about your recipes and what you think.

12oz bottle given to me by a co-worker who bought two, and dumped out the first one after tasting it. He's not a spicy kind of guy, and he knows I am, so here goes...I'll review it expecting it to be a chile beer.
Pours a dingy amber with no head and moderate carbonation. Smell is peppers with a beery background.
Taste is sweet at first, and then a tidal wave of spiciness. It may or may not be as spicy as Crime or Punishment, but it's in the ball park. Flavor is not bad, but the spiciness is totally over the top. Not in the mood to drink the whole thing, unfortunately.
Mouthfeel is thin and a little flat. Overall, not a bad beer if you're looking for total chile domination. But don't try it unless that's what you're going for.
