L; Lightly hazy, fine white head that dissipated quickly leaving some (but not much) lacing on the glass
S: is light, yeast driven with a bit of malt in the background
T: mild yeast character
F: the body is thin and crisp as you might expect in a dry 4.5% beer
O: A very tasty and refreshing beer to have on a hot day riding around on your Belgian lawnmower.

on tap at trinity down in the springs, apparently they had it left over from saison fest, lucky me. ive scored a couple of cool northwest beers there in the last month from this event, superb. this is the first ive had from or heard of these guys, and its an excellent session type saison, really really pale in color, like a cloudy glass of champagne, same shade, same bubbles, and a large white head, pure and clean looking in the glass. nose isnt light at all, but rather a burst of dry hopped lemongrassy goodness. maybe some oats in here, it has some good body for how light looking it is, and all the carbonation makes it really sing on the palate. seems to be built for spring, as there is a nice floral component and the lemongrass character is awesome. a lemon wedge for acidity would serve this well, not that i am much of a fruit in beer proponent, but i feel like a dash of citric acid would really make this dynamic and perfect. as it is, i like its delicate but full of substance nature, and if i lived where this was available, i would drink it all the time. not as yeasty and yeast flavored as the style usually is, maybe thats why i am finding it delicate, but the flavor is great as it is, a new kind of balance in saison. very well made.
