I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a pub glass.
Appearance: very dark brown with a clear body and a thin layer of ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweetish aroma with a nice caramel note and kind of a vanilla or even almondy kinda note. I rather like it.
Taste: sweet malt with some nice caramel notes. It's not super complex or anything, but it's not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a pretty big carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: a bit on the sweet side, but a reasonably solid porter.

draught
Moderate amount of ivory head. Very dark and nearly opaque brown, with a little auburn and chestnut highlights, at the edge of the glass. Subtle, medium dark roasted grain aroma. Smooth and toasty grain flavor, with a hint of an off-dry, note at the outset of the taste. Nice rich mouthfeel, with almost a woody character, on the side.
