4oz taster at 2018 Inland NW Craft Beer Festival. Appearance is dark amber with a nice off white head. Aroma and flavors are toasted malt and subtle hops with a distinct, but pleasant, smokiness.

A - Pours a murky brown with minimal head. Plastic cup and jockey box may have had some influence there.
S - Smoke, but a pleasant kind of mild smoke. Nothing too acrid. This is really the way a smoked beer should smell.
T - Nicely done. Again, nothing too overpowering from the smoked malt but is definitely there. I would like to taste a little more going on with other malt character but I get it.
M - Full bodied. Carbonation seems a bit low.
O - Very well done beer from a brewery in the middle of nowhere. I may have to make the trek one of these weekends.
