On cask at Moeder Iambic, color is opaque gold with big frothy white head with impressive last for a cask pour.
Smell is tropical fruit and musty, a little leafy compost, Hood strawberries.
Taste is also sweet fruity esters, with acetic and lactic acid as well as brett notes, pretty vinous, with some tannin. Leans sweet and sour, lemon drop and sweet tart candies. Could use a touch less acetic for my taste.
Mouthfeel is loose and light.
Drinakability is pretty solid. Probably the cask is the biggest hit for me with a sloppy mouthfeel, but it also opens up the flavors, which are many, but not exaggerated. Very nice beer.

Pours a bright reddish orange. The substantial dirty white froth diminishes in its own good time and leaves a thick quilting of lace behind.
Sour light fruits such as orange, apple and lemon flow freely to the nose. Sweet bread and grain are also noticed.
Taste starts with prominent tangy fruits and brettanomyces followed by grain and fresh hay then ending with lingering notes of spice and a splinter or two of wood.
Dry and superbly balanced with only a hint of alcohol.
Finding little gems like this are what it's all about.

Delightful treat that hits all the notes mentioned below in previous reviews. Brett forward funkiness, with some clove and grape.

Gusher alert! A hazy, murky light yellow with a dense, white head that leaves plenty of lacing, this looks great. The nose is a full frontal assault of Brett funk. Clove, mild plastic, a touch of pineapple, honey, earth, and a little horse blanket. For having been aged in Bon Chien barrels, the color and the acetic expression are surprisingly mild. Mild phenols are present, but this really is a super Bretty saison.
The palate opens tart with a mild yogurty lactic character, though the sourness is mild at best. Beautiful Brett expression with clove, earth, clove phenols, pineapple, a mild barnyard funk along with the base beers' honey, a little cotton candy. As the beer warms, a lemony tartness grows, working brilliantly with the Brett. Light in body with a high level of carbonatio, this beer has a long, tart finish with lingering Brett funk. Excellent, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

On tap at the Thirsty Monk (AVL).
Hazy amber body with a markedly thick and durable head.
Mildly funky and fruity aroma; moderately spicy.
Very complex flavor. Medium-high tartness; mild bitterness; apricots; subtle effects of barrel aging.
Excellent soft carbonation.
