This one pours a dark-ish brown color, with no head or lacing.

This smells like sticky grape jam, red wine, leather, slight vinegar, and chocolate.

The carbonation level on this is pretty low, which seems to sort of amplify the intense funkiness and acidity of this one. It’s just slightly vinegary, but not overly so – it’s a nice little interesting funky note to the malty and acidic base beer.

This is medium bodied, with a very, very low carbonation level. Not quite still, but very close to it.

I’ve really enjoyed all of the Bon Chien variants I’ve had – they’re all so unique and well worth trying.
