32 ounce pre-filled crowler, no fill date stated on the crowler but I picked it up the brewery a few days ago. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a couple inch frothy tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coffee, cocoa and roasted malt. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some nutty and dark bread flavors. But to me this brew is all about the coffee! Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and has a good amount of carbonation. Definitely worth picking up if you're into coffee beers and/or porters, I liked it!

I tried this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with thin white head that did not leave any lace. The scent had coffee presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with milk chocolate and coffee blend. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall this is a very good porter and should be enjoyed in the cooler months.

Black with a tan head.
Big, freshly brewed coffee. Dry and bitter, just up to the edge of being too much, but not going over.
Smooth and frothy, this is cappuccino as beer.

Great aroma. Buttery smooth, rich coffee tasting notes. Finishes sharp, but extremely tasty and flavorful for the style. Would buy again!

Enjoyed from the brewery in a snifter, this fine porter pours an opaque black with a beautiful brown head of foam that dissipates to a thin ring and light lacing. Nose of dark roasted coffee (duh), dark chocolate, and roasted nuts. Flavors follow the nose with a cold pressed coffee flavor that is moderately bitter, nutty, and rich followed by a light cocoa flavor on the sides, and coffee bitterness on the back and aftertaste. Light carbonation makes this a stout drinkers porter indeed----slick, rich, and lightly oily. Could use a touch more sweetness, but excellent as is. Could easily be termed a breakfast stout. Another favorite.
Cheers
