I tried this at the brewery. It poured a clear dark amber with thin white head that has left a spotty lace. The scent had Belgian twang with hints of sweet malt. The taste followed the scent fairly closely. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with smooth carbonation. Overall this is a decent beer and definitely worth a try.

From the growler via the brewery. This very nice dubbel pours a rugged
medium chill hazed brown with a nice head of off white foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin layer, and features nice lacing. Nose of dark fruits, brown sugars,
subtle banana touched with toffee, and earthy yeast notes. Flavors follow the nose
with aplomb with toffee, brown sugars, and light banana notes swirled in a subtle
earthy yeast and lightly touched by subtle herbal hops. Nice mouth feel, smooth,
lightly creamy, and finishing subtly sweet. Overall and excellent rendition of the style
done right by the JAFB folks.
Cheers
