Bought fresh from the brewery the other day, a pint can poured into a weizen glass.
The beer is a solid, hazy gold. I got a decent amount of white head that faded out to a small cap and then a ring. I'm getting that beery aroma from the nose, if you know what I mean. It's that sort of grainy, spicy quality I tend to associate with beer despite it being present moreso in these lighter beers. Clove is right but comes with a fruity note - it's lemon-citrusey and banana. Taste is pretty similar. The grain comes through first but the fruit and spice comes in quickly to hit the back and sides of your mouth. Sort of lingers there. It's a lighter beer with a solid mouthfeel. The body is near mid with solid carbonation. Creamy finish. Definitely a pleasant yeast flavor left over. Maybe even a touch of apple and also reminiscent of bubblegum in a vaguer way.
Yeeeeah this is a really good one.

I am trying this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy yellow with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had good grain notes and subtle clove spice. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with yeast and wheat presence and hints clove. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Had this on 2021-12-04 at the brewery on tap
A - Hazy straw gold with a 2.0-finger head and decent lace
S - Pleasant wheat bread with restrained amounts of clove, lemon and banana
T - Much like the aroma. So well balanced! Finishes mildly sweet and just a small bit of brief bitterness. Delicious.
M - Medium-full body and medium carbonation. Creamy, substantial, smooth. Excellent.
O - I can see why this won gold at the 2021 Great American Beer Festival. It's delicious.
