Aged in an acacia barrel we got from Mad Fritz brewery in St. Helena, CA, this
blend beer is a beautiful example of the subtle depth of character we can achieve with time and gentle production techniques. Bottle conditioned with Oregon honey.

750 mL bottle. Deep reddish brown. Smells of brown bready malts, red wine, lots of dark fruit. Tastes of sour vinous notes, wine, sweet fruitiness, and a little bit of wood in the finish dries it out. High carbonation. Medium heavy. Not too sour and genuinely good. I haven't had a good AA beer in a long time and this is a refreshing change.

Bottle at share, courtesy of Joel. Dark brown pour with frothy tan head. Aroma leads with herbal notes, woody, tartness. More earthy herbal notes in the flavor, along with some funky tartness.
