Corked 750 bottle (Batch Jan 20 2017), named in opposition of Cheeto Jesus. A sour beer for sour times. Poured into 14oz teku. Poured a beautifully clean and clear bright medium-gold color with an inch of white head that had moderate retention and very light lacing.
A solid funk hit the nose a soon as the cork was pulled. There was some wine and wood behind it as well. Upon further sniffing, the funk had the lead, with the the wood/grape/wine trio providing solid support.
All those aspects were also on the tongue, along with a bit of (I think) pine. Something floral that wasn't in the nose.
The body was light, crisp, clean, and had a very dry finish.
Drinkability was awesome, no issues soloing the bottle.
Overall, a great beer. I believe this was a one-time only beer, but, if you see it, it's a must-try.
