Palate Contaminants: sushi and sake
Nice copper-gold color. Not a whole lot of fine carbonation, but there's a consistent trace at the meniscus.
Nose has perfumy soap and fresh cilantro. Concentrated lime juice. A little bit of funkiness that's somehow tied with cottage cheese. Sounds like a horrible mess, but it's really plenty pleasant.
Tons of lime up front, with traces of lemon. The funkiness is dialed down, although still present, and the dairy has honey with it. The regular brewski bitterness is present, but then there's an extra level that's unpleasant, and it's tied to astringency. Grape leaf is way in the background.
At least that unpleasant bitterness goes away in the aftertaste. I'd call it cottage cheese with pineapple, plus a little funk. Medium fine carbonation and medium weight.
