500mL bottle (packaged 8/2022) into a tulip. Pours a clear honey golden color with minimal head but lively carbonation.
Aroma is tart and crisp—sour apples/cherries, apple cider vinegar, oak.
Taste is likewise sour and vaguely fruity—pale biscuity malt, dry oak, some clean funk.
Mouthfeel is crisp and light, finishes bone dry. Drinkable.
Overall a tasty if fairly standard sour/wild ale.

Pours an lightly cloudy apricot, no head formation or lacing. Nose is acetic, stone fruit (apricot, sour cherry), dried mango, light funk and oak. Honey notes as it warms a touch. Taste is bracingly tart at first, though pleasantly so. Not much funkiness on the palate, but instead sharp stone fruit tartness (again, apricot is be best parallel for me). Feel is nearly flat (they call this a piquette style), and while a little bit more carbonation would make this more refreshing, I see what they're going for. Mouthfeel has some moderate slickness and body, giving it even more of a white wine feel. Not surprising that cherry isn't too prominent here, seeing as it's a second-use beer, but it still delivers plenty of tart notes. Another winning beer from these folks.
