Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a cloudy burnt orange to amber color with a thin white little head that quickly dissipated to a glossy lace. The aroma combined citrus to grains with a sweet cracker-like underscore. Light grassiness. The flavor seemed to keep that separated taste about it. Sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet. Light grainy sweet aftertaste. Toast-like finish. On the palate, this one seemed to sit about medium bodied. Somewhat sessionable. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt fine and dandy. Overall, aroma and feel were fine, but the taste didn’t seem to come together. I mean it tasted fine, but just didn’t really tell me this could be a knockout.
