On tap at the brewery.
Mahogany brown, verging on black. Flat head with minimal effervescence.
Nose is initially very closed but gradually opens to more typical roasted notes with baking spices.
Flavor also opens as a fairly typical stout, moderate roast, balanced with notes of bitter chocolate and coffee. The chai notes open with time in the glass.
Another interesting brew but ultimately I was not convinced I really wanted chai in my beer.

Can from the source.
Dark brown/black in color with a decent sized tan head that shows moderate retention. Earthy hops to counter some roasty caramel and chocolate maltiness. Not bad

A decent little stout. Drinkable for the style, but would prefer a bit more 'oomph (if you know what I'm saying). Smokey upfront but simmers towards the end. Not bad and definitely worth trying.
