On tap at the brewery.
Opaque black in the glass. Flat head with no effervescence.
Nose is light, malty rather than expected roast notes. Slightly fruity but no hint of coconut.
Drinks like a light porter. Body is light. Mildly roasted with balanced bitterness. The coconut flavor blossoms with time in the glass. Initially it is only noticeable right at the end of the aftertaste. After about 20 mins it is obvious on the foretaste.
An interesting brew but not one I felt an urge to take home in a 4 pack.
