This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a burnt orange color. Slim bar pour’s kind of head. Mild stringy lacing. The aroma leans to the sweet side of citrus, grassiness and mild oats. Light citrus rind bitterness comes in for the balance. The flavor was sweet through the previously mentioned aromas. Bitterness seems to try and balance but it definitely leans sweet. Smooth semi-sweet hops and malts aftertaste. Smooth sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Fine sessionability. Low enough carbonation creates appropriate smoothness along with the oats. Overall, well done smooth and sweet APA, probably could have just a touch of bitterness to come back to level it out but still worthy to have again.

Poured from a nitro-tap into a mason jar, the beer is a dark, amber-brown coloring with a thin, ring of off-white surface head. Nose of toasted grain, subtle apple and passion fruit sweetness, toffee, and hints of bitter hops. Flavors are sweet and tangy forward, with a toasty backbone and bitter hops overlay at the end of the palate. Smooth throughout until the end, where it dries very quickly. Subtle sweet honey and fruit notes highlight. The aftertaste is toasted grain and hops bitterness, with a dry, quick, bitter finish. Interesting and smooth.
