Nice ESB from Otter, and it goes to two good causes. Reddish-brown - much darker than expected, with a nice, tight white head. Good nutty malt scent, though the hops are a little bit more tame than expected. Nutty, creamy toffee malt profile, with light floral hops. I think this almost borders on a brown ale, but it still retains enough hoppiness to be a bitter.
Carbonation is good, maybe even a bit low, but still good. At 5%, a nice session bitter.
