All hail the glorious hop! This luminary of lupulin packs a wallop of flavor and aroma in a tiny package. Our intense love for these little flowers is why we created a highly drinkable beer that perfectly showcases their incredible versatility.
Rather than brew a bitter bomb, our balanced American India Pale Ale bursts with tropical flavors like grapefruit, papaya, and tangerine from a blend of Bravo, Citra, Mosaic, and Mandarina hops. This everyday IPA is bold without being brash.

Got the sampler IPA twelvesky. All new beers to me, but not the brewery.
A pretty interesting IPA, appealing to me bc I absolutely love cascade hops. A nice blend of citrus, pine, and a wee bit of dank compliments a solid malty base with a touch of bread and dry grass. There's a pronounced but not overpowering bitterness that would have left me guessing the IBUs were higher than the listed 50. But that doesn't diminish the beer.
I would consider this more of a west coast special than anything else. Didn't disappoint.

Look: hazy amber with a thick fluffy white head
Aroma: caramel, honey, orange, pine resin
Flavor: the beer taste like bread, a little bit of caramel or honey, orange, and then a grassy and pine resin like bitterness.
Body/Overall: medium body, well balanced and pretty good but not my favorite

A: Pours with a slight chill haze. A golden/orange color. Two fingers of white foam rises with good retention and lace.
S: Citrus, grapefruit, floral hops. Toasted and bready malts. More malty than expecting actually, which isn't a bad thing. Though still by the books.
T: The hops follow the nose, with the citrus grapefruit and floral/pine going on that is pretty typical of the style. A fuller, rounder malt presents with plenty of toasted, bread, and caramel sweet malts. Just a bit of bitterness lingering.
M/O: A medium body with crisp carbonation. Finishes very clean as well. Something I can easily come back to. As this is very balanced.
Not the most expressive or unique version of an IPA I have had. Maybe a little TOO much of a malty presents, and thats coming from a guy that likes all things balanced. Could have just a bit more bitter punch, but still its a good IPA that I enjoyed and would come back to.

Had this at a Dallas hotel while at one of my wife’s dance competitions.
Not a bad IPA. Poured from a can into a tall pilsner glass (that is what they gave me). Golden yellow color with with a decent white head and good curtain lacing. Piney smell and taste. Pleasantly bitter with some citrus at the end. Not something I would go out of my way for but it certainly went well with the pretty good hotel hamburger!

Ahhh Texas, you never stop surprising me! Thanks to the generosity of a friend from the area, I was able to get my hands on this Lakewood IPA, among some other Texan staples (stay tuned!). I have to say, the hops in this guy coupled with a sweet and floral aroma made this a welcome fluid to my lips following some high-octane aviation, pond hockey, and bonfires with friends over this winter break. Great Amber color, manageable head, and oh-so-refreshing, no matter the day, time or activity. So enjoyable in fact, you’ll fail to realize that this puppy packs a powerful 7% punch. Not a hockey beer, but hey, this is the 1009BR — everything’s a hockey beer. Can’t wait to get my hands on this one again!

L-Pours a three finger headed amber brown beer. Solid carbonation. Looks pretty run of the mill for a standard American IPA.
S-Sweet fruity hop, strawberry, orange, some watermelon and malty sweetness. Very slight booziness on the nose, not even remotely off-putting. Altogether a sweet and fruity IPA aroma wise.
T-Sweet with a bitter bite at the end. Strawberry and orange are very present right away, a bit grassy and earthy on the finish. The bitterness adds a nice touch in the end.
F-Medium bodied with a thick finish.
O- What makes this IPA good is how flavorful, yet drinkable it is. There isn't anything overly special about this beer, but it's crafted very well and drinks equally as well.

Medium dark in color with a smooth slightly fruity and hoppy taste. I like it very much.
