Probably too critical, but I did not like this brew. I was not impressed by the unfiltered appearance, cloudy and dusty. My first smell brought memories of a gose with its hint of sourness. The feel in my mouth was a bit oily. My personal opinion is the fruits and hops were not meant to go together. I may finish my 4 pack, but I won’t be buying more. I doubt it will be brewed again.

A good but not inspired beer. Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Murky orangish yellow color with good head and lacing. Citrus smell and taste with a bit of vanilla. Orange and tangerine. I don’t think it will be a repeater.

Pours a cloudy, opaque golden amber color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is decent. Lacing is good. Has a deep malty, caramel apple like aroma. Big malty taste. Caramel with some apple and mild grapefruit bitterness at the end. Has a soapy like aftertaste. Seems boozy. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

pours murky hazy burnt orange body with an excited foaming off-white head with moderate retention that leaves occasional sticky patches of lacing behind as it settles to halo
clean yet pungent pine hop aroma with shades of grapefruit
taste is thick chewy resinous pine hope and earthy grapefruit; chewy malt backer
moderately low carbonation, moderately heavy body; slick feeling with carbonation and low booze heat prickles, finishing carbonated and earthy bittersweet
overall:
while not my favorite, this has plenty of that classic west coast pine-and-grapefruit resinous blast of hop going for it. the mouthfeel docked a little for me personally, but it is negotiable one the second brew.
