Poured from the can into a Nonic. Off-white head with nice head retention and good lacing. In the glass it looks like a slightly deeper-golden Pils. So far so good.
The nose is malty and clean -- no flaws. Just a touch of hops and a touch of yeast.
A touch sweeter than it is hoppy-sharp, and a touch of tanginess . . . but not lactic sour or anything close to sour. Just that sour/sharp tang of the hop playing off of the malt base. A bit of fruit, with a touch of banana (!), golden pear, and ripe honeydew melon. The bitterness accentuates malt profile nicely, so there's nothing overly-sweet, here.
Good mouthfeel: Coats the tongue and palate, a bit of light scrubbing.
Could this one be a bit long in the tooth? Code on bottom of can reads "101115" -- this tastes food for a beer packaged in October 2015! Seems that that could be a code from the can manufacturer.
Altogether a crisp and slightly better than average Blonde ale.

Meh. Honestly there is some pleasant light hippiness and a bit of maltyness in this here can with a dog on it. The dog looks pretty happy. Not a bad pale ale at all but needs some refinement.

Poured from the newfangled pull top can into a shaker pint. A moderate pour produces a frothy, creamy head of about 3/4 inch. The beer is a pale golden amber with swirling carbonation.
I left a little of the beer in the can to see how the open top facilitates wafting. There is a heavy dose of grassy and herbal hop aromas and maybe a little DMS and a definite boozy smell. Almost a weedy aroma in there somewhere- I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's not altogether pleasant. I also get this in the flavor, along with some corny DMS, and grassy and earthy hop notes. Some slight estery notes suggest ripe banana. I sense a little cotton candy sweetness as well.
This is not a very clean brew and I'm not sure how it would go down as a thirst quencher. It's not horrible but it does have some weird flavors and aromas. I probably would not seek this out again.

Poured from pull top can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours golden amber color with a small fizzy white head. The head fades relatively quickly leaving only a hit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a bready and slightly sweet smell of peach and apricot with some other sweet aromas of caramel as well. A little bit of floral hop and a light level of grain are there as well rounding out the smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice bready and sweet flavor as depicted by the nose. A caramel flavor is the heaviest of the sweet, but there is also come apricot and peach sweetness as well, with the caramel losing ground as the taste moves onto the end. As the sweet caramel fades, the fruitier flavors increase and are joined by some flavors of a floral hop and a bit of grass and grain. Some herbal hop comes at the very end leaving a nice clean and crisp flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is average in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is slightly higher. For the sweeter and bready flavors along with the more crisp tastes and lighter hop blend, the feel is very nice making for a refreshing and easy drinking beer.
Overall – A quite tasty and easy drinking pale ale. A good flavorful brew especially good for a summer day outside (but still very good even when it is freezing outside as I am drinking it in the dead of the winter)
